This place offers outstanding tasting pizzas that is very affordable. I've been here twice and I must say that it won't be the last. The atmosphere is cute and classy. I highly recommend you give this place a try!
I went to junior high down the street and I have been coming here ever since! (20 years). I live in Montreal, but whenever I am back home in Calgary varsity Pizza is a must. The pepperoni slice is spectacularly nostalgic, and still hits the spot. Their subs are also very good as well as their take-home pies. Will always love Varsity Pizza!
My mum worked down the street for decades, and it was always a treat a couple times a month to go and get a sub here. The best sub sandwiches I've ever had and it will always bring back nostalgia sitting down with a VPS sub. Thank you for keeping her memory alive through your subs
The staff were incredibly nice. And though we have allergies and a little one who is a picky eater, they were very kind about it and able to accommodate us. To top it off, the pizza was amazing, from perfect crust, to plentiful yummy toppings. Highly recommend!

The employees/owners are really lovely people. I had a difficult order, and they handled it with humor and grace. The pizzas were delicious with generous, high quality toppings atop each one. You can tell the pizza dough is made with love, and that the sauce is scratch made by people who care about what they do.
Always awesome, always delicious. This is my go to pizza place, and it never disappoints! Generous toppings, perfect crust (gotta eat before it gets soggy in the box!), and crispy chewy cheese - I crave this pizza after a long work week. Owner is friendly and makes the best darn pizza at a reasonable price. My fav is their House Special. If there was such a thing as the pizza Olympics, Varsity Pizza and Subs would win gold! PS: one suggestion might be to use those white wavy corrugated paper mats under the pizza so the crust gets less soggy for those who live farther away so the crust stays crispy? The humidity from the hot pizza makes the bottoms a little soggy if left too long in the box.
